Eli Thompson | |
| Biography | Born in Israel and living in Massachusetts since childhood, Eli followed his father's footsteps and studied computer science and mechanical engineering. After a chance exposure to Therapeutic Massage, a love for bodywork was ignited. He completed his Massage training in 1999 and became certified in KMI Structural Integration in 2002. “I am regularly awed by the power of this work to transcend not only our physical limitations but also our ingrained psychosocial habits and attitudes. It is such a rewarding experience to witness my clients grow into themselves in this deeper sense.” Eli became a Certified Teacher of Kinesis in 2005. He now travels the US teaching 2-4 day weekend workshops titled, “Anatomy Trains.” These classes are intensives, designed to introduce the theories and practices of KMI Structural Integration to Massage Therapists and movement instructors. With his background in martial arts and Engineering, Eli brings a deeper understanding of both the experience and the science of biomechanics to his work and teaching. He has published several articles and runs a second business selling Structural Integration Benches of his design called BenchWorks (www.EliThompson.com). Eli currently practices in Brookline, MA where he lives with his wife and three children. |

A touchstone is a standard, a model, a pattern used to test the quality of a thing. And now as a certified Kinesis Myofasical Integration (KMI) structural integrator, Rosalie uses the KMI touchstone for exploring with her clients the use of gravity to be somatically aware, aligned, and free to move about in the world. Private Practice Rosalie maintains a private practice in a serene office space with a psychiatric nurse practitioner, a certified reflexologist, and a biofeedback/neurofeedback specialist in Greenville, the heart of Eastern North Carolina. |

Susan Blumin | |
| Biography | Trained as a classical dancer, my passion for and understanding of fluid movement has lead me on a journey to the practice of KMI. A graduate of Educating Hands School of Massage in Miami, Florida, I quickly immersed myself in the advanced studies of Neuromuscular Therapy, Active Isolated Stretching, Prenatal Therapy, Orthopedic Therapy and Advanced Hot Stone Therapy. After many Certifications and the rise to Teaching Assistant in Orthopedic Therapy, I still felt that there was more to learn in order to assist my clients in their recovery to physical well being. I wanted to be able to access the different strata of the body, as I felt that I was still not able to fully access the tissues that most required therapy. Hearing about “The Anatomy Trains,” I took the course in order to advance my knowledge of Spatial Medicine, never dreaming that I would be so fascinated with Tom Myers’ concepts, that I would take a year of my life to study and become certified in KMI! Helping my clients to emerge from a painful body and into a fluid and naturally moving structure is my primary goal. The KMI 12-series is structured so that the human form can readjust itself into a more efficient working posture and acture. However, there is no end to my need for knowledge that will assist my clients, and I am continuing my journey by studying Advanced KMI, Visceral Therapy from the Barral Institute, SI Movement, and other courses that will compliment my treatment protocols. Certified by the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) and The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, I am licensed and available for appointments both in North Miami, Florida and in Stoneham, Massachusetts. I am also certified by the Certification Board for Structural Integration, a division subsidiary of IASI. |
